Welcome aboard Brent!
This show is incredible. Jaw-dropping incredible. A setlist that dreams are made of. Brent is gelling so well with the band. The Scarlet>Fire is really stand out. Terrapin>PITB (a 40 minute version including Drums>Space and the Reprise). Jerry goes off into interspace and opens his mind's eye during the Playin' jam and The Other One. This may be one of the very best Brent-era Other Ones. Brent weaves in and out of Jerry's noodling Mutron solos with rich, saturated B-3 organ swells. The jamming is intense and focused. Every note of Jerry's solo has meaning, and Brent again kills it with his B3 work. Mickey and Billy are playing like gods. Phil's volume level isn't very good, but occasionally he pierces through with a bomb or rippin' bass line. Overall, an amazing show. If a SBD exists, it will eventually be an official release.
Great audience recording. Barry did an excellent job here (you are a lucky man Barry!). Put on some headphones, dial in your AUD ears, and absorb the sound. Thanks for posting.
